What was reported

On February [XXX], 2026 at 6:01 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Austin, Texas on [XXX] near [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was facing southeast on [XXX] in autonomous mode while stopped at the traffic light at the intersection with [XXX]. While stopped at the traffic light, a pickup truck approached the AVRIDE AV from the rear and did not stop. This resulted in the front of the pickup truck making contact with the rear of the AVRIDE AV. The pickup truck driver left the scene during post collision documentation and immediately rear ended another vehicle down the road. Both vehicles sustained damage. The AVRIDE AV safety driver went to the hospital for safe measure. No injuries were reported.
