What was reported
On May [XXX], 2026 at 5:51 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Dallas, TX on [XXX] near [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling westbound on [XXX] in autonomous mode in the right lane. [XXX] consists of three lanes in the direction of travel. As the AVRIDE AV proceeded straight ahead, a passenger car traveling in the far left lane attempted to move across two lanes simultaneously into the far right lane, cutting off the AVRIDE AV. This maneuver resulted in the front right of the passenger car making contact with the left front of the AVRIDE AV. Both vehicles sustained damage. No injuries were reported.
