What was reported
On May [XXX], 2026 at 2:43 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle(the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Dallas, TX at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling northeastbound in the left lane on [XXX] in autonomous mode as it approached the green showing traffic light at the intersection with [XXX]. As the AVRIDE AV approached the intersection, an SUV traveling southeastbound on [XXX] also approached the intersection from the left of the AVRIDE AV. The SUV went against traffic rules and entered the intersection without stopping at the traffic light which was showing red. This maneuver by the SUV resulted in the front of the SUV making contact with the left side of the AVRIDE AV. Both vehicles sustained damage. No injuries were reported.
