What was reported

On June [XXX], 2026 at 7:40 AM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Dallas, TX at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling southeastbound on [XXX] in autonomous mode in rainy conditions as it approached the intersection with [XXX] and began slowing to make a right turn. As the AVRIDE AV decelerated, a pickup truck traveling behind it failed to stop and struck the rear of the AVRIDE AV. The impact caused the pickup truck to be pushed rearward into the path of an SUV traveling behind it, resulting in contact between the rear of the pickup truck and the front of the SUV. All three vehicles sustained damage. No injuries were reported.
